Co-ordinator : Jean-Luc Renaud
Prerequisite
introduction to organometallic chemistry, organic chemistry
Course Objectives
The aim of this teaching, complementary to the teaching "organometallic and selectivity", is to make the student aware of the use of homogeneous catalysis in an industrial environment.
Syllabus
Alcene hydrogenation and carbonyl functions-Examples of applications to pharmaceutical compounds.
Wacker's reaction
Industrial procedures involving the use of carbon monoxide
Polymerization and oligomerization by homogeneous catalysis
Practical work (TD or TP)
Non renseigné
Acquired skills
Know the major processes involving a catalysis stage
Understanding industrial processes, catalytic processes, reaction mechanisms.
