Course Objectives
What are the societal stakes of the future? What are your responsibilities as a future engineer and citizen in this complex and uncertain world? Your answers should allow you to project yourself into this future while taking into account the following three axes:
- Transformation of lifestyles/cultures (linked to technological developments)
- Responsible innovation
- Ethical principles and personal commitment
Syllabus
Write a study that analyses the current issues, the results of your reflection on your theme and a annotated bibliography
Organize a debate on the issues of your theme and/or negotiation
Design one communicative material from the options for the individual defence

Practical work (TD or TP)
• Written report in English + a communicative material for individual defence
• Oral defence: format: 10-minute power point presentation + 5 minutes for questions

Acquired skills
Specific skills
Reach level B2/C1 in the four competences in English and Level +1 in German / English / FLE
Can work in a team in a professional context using the chosen language.
Write a project report in the chosen language.

General skills
Unit of skills: taking into consideration the organisational, personal and cultural aspect.
Level 3: Can work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.

Bibliography
A list of internet sites may be given to the students allowing them to work alone and documents may be put on the school’s online platform.
