146-3 R&D Project Physics Engineering and Embedded Systems - Apprenticeship S9
Lessons : 0 h TD : 95 h TP : 0 h Project : 0 h Total : 95 h
Co-ordinator : Alexandre SKRZYPCZAK
Prerequisite
Scientific modules from S5 to S9
Project management
Course Objectives
The content of the project is proposed by the teachers of the formation and aims at covering a large spectrum of the knowledges acquired during the scholarship.

Objectives:
* Analysis of the product specification

* Group organization, plannification of the developments, ...

* Communication with the referent teacher of the project

* Presentation of the developements through a technical report and an oral defense

Syllabus
The students are working in groups of 3 to 8. Each group identifies the technical constraints of their specific project, finds technical solutions and then develops and validates their solutions.
Practical work (TD or TP)
Proposed projects in 2020-2021

* Development of an plateform for digital audio processing by using DSP-based or FPGA-based boards.
* Development of audio effects algorithms
* Dévelopment of a PIC18 board software emulation (used for "Embedded system" module in distance learning mode)
Acquired skills
Innovation, knowing how to use the technical knowledge and skills to develop a complex system

Self training and acquiring new knowledge, methods and skills

Evaluating a proposed solution

Group organization, team working and team building, communication inside a group and communication outside the group (referent teacher, jury, ...)
