Prerequisite
General computer course
Course Objectives
Deepening of the technologies and applications used on IP networks.
Syllabus
1) Web architectures, models and protocols Details of protocols (HTTP, etc.) and Web architectures.
2) Multimedia services on the Web - Audio and video streaming architecture, - Multimedia data format, - Study of the case of Web Radio.
3) Messaging, Directory and naming systems - SMTP, POP, IMAP, - Directory systems: LDAP, DNS, - Architecture of a messaging system, - Instant messaging, mobility, security.
Practical work (TD or TP)
The practical work will take up the topics covered in class in the 3 areas mentioned above.
Acquired skills
Knowledge of web technologies and applications.
