Course Objectives
To know the basics of laboratory work: experimental techniques, data processing, analysis and presentation of experimental results.
Syllabus
- Error Analysis
- Determination and analysis of microstructures
- Presentation of the main scientific instruments in materials sciences
- Presentation of experimental data
Practical work (TD or TP)
Demonstrations: tensile testing, hardness testing, bending testing, microstructure studies of metal alloys and composite polymers.

- Writing a scientific report
- knowledge of data analysis software
